Gravity Falls Review (Seasons 1-2)

Gravity Falls is a crazy and family-friendly adventure.

Rating: 10/10

Dipper and Mabel are two twelve year old kids who love adventure. Their parents let them stay with their great uncle Stan for the summer. Stan runs a local tourist trap known as the Mystery Shack, so basically he scams people out of their money.

The show gets more mysterious as Dipper and Mabel discover that the town of Gravity Falls has many secrets.

Gravity Falls is easily one of the greatest kid shows ever made. The show captures some of the craziness of Rick and Morty without all the adult content. Overall, Gravity Falls is a great series to watch as a family.

For Parents
Language: Brief name calling: (you suck, dumb, idiot etc.) One or two cut of swear words (son of a...) a few uses of "what the heck" and "darn"
Sexual: Puberty is joked about on occasion. Dipper is infatuated with The Mystery Shack clerk Wendy. Characters kiss on occasion. A few other jokes that will go over kid's heads.
Violence: Some scary images. One episode focuses on zombie-like monsters who spray green blood everywhere when killed (several are killed). In one or two episodes a character could have a bloody lip or a black eye. Slapstick violence. The series finale has an apocalyptic feel to it. Everything is kept on a PG level.
Other: Stan scams many people out of their money, and tells Dipper and Mabel to follow suit. He is also a frequent liar.
Fine for older kids
