Batman: The Killing Joke movie review

In 1988, Alan Moore a popular graphic novel writer published a batman novel that stunned the world. Apparently, it still is. Any comic book junkie would know who Oracle is. Batgirl was paralyzed and confined to a wheelchair for the rest of her life. The comic acted as a lead-in and explanation for this as well as the largest Joker origin story ever.
The Killing Joke is animated, but isn't appropriate for kids, or possibly even tweens. Nonetheless the Killing Joke is fine for older teens and up.
I would give this movie a 9/10, I wanted it to be a bit longer, but it still was everything I expected. I have loved the graphic novel ever since I read it.
UPDATE: I have read several articles staying that The Killing Joke was sexist and treated Batgirl the wrong way.
The reason people think this is because of how she was always trying to rebel against Batman and was victimized by the Joker.
I thought the first half an hour of her back story really made me care for the character it made the shooting do much more tragic. I do agree that the scene between her and Batman wasn't really necessary. They could have just kissed!
Rated R for some bloody images and disturbing content
