Room
Starring: Brie Larson, Jacob Tremblay, and William H. Macy
Rated: R for language
A while back I reviewed the novel Room. The book had me on the edge of my seat. The film was just as good. Every piece was well shot. The acting was incredible and I think Jacob Tremblay may be a very good actor for drama films in the future. The only reason there was language in the film (10 f-words) was so that the film which centers around captivity and rape didn't get a PG-13 rating. There were no scenes of rape, but it is heavily implied. Overall, the movie is an incredible inspiring story for mature teens.
