Childhood's End no spoiler book review

Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke
(No Spoiler Review)

In 1968 Stanley Kubrick, the director who would later direct The Shining, stunned viewers with the masterpiece 2001: A Space Odyssey. 2001: A Space Odyssey was written by critically acclaimed writer Arthur C. Clarke. Clarke also wrote the book Childhood's End which was converted into a three part mini-series by SyFy. The series did well as did the book which was written over fifty years before the SyFy TV series debut.

The book is fairly clean. Other than a use of hell and a use of the n-word the book has no language. There is no sexual content, save a very brief reference to contraceptives in passing. People smoke and drink. Violence is not a huge concern, but I can't say much without spoiling the plot, so here it goes. Lots of people die, but it is never described. That's pretty much it.
