Tom Hanks is such a good actor. This movie is no exception. What started out to me as a romance, actually got pretty funny and dramatic. Tom Hanks wife dies at the beggining of the film and he's looking for a wife later. Simple rom-com right? This one was funny, romantic, and dramatic. Several times I was on the edge of my seat actually. Of course Tom Hanks plays his character well, and Meg Ryan does too. This is also a cleaner movie than films like Castaway and Forrest Gump, which are good films, but both are PG-13 for good reasons.
