The Giver (book) review

The Giver is one of those books that teach you a lesson while also being a thriller. I give it five out of five stars. The movie was pretty good too.

Language: None

Sexual Content: Jonas has a dream where he kisses a girl.

Violence: For whatever reason babies are seen being euthanized. It is mentioned that this happens to elderly people and any age of person who does wrong. Jonas and Asher get into a brief fight. Jonas sees and feels images of pain as well as war.

Drug and alcohol: People take pain medicines for any kind of pain from a stubbed toe to a concussion. Also, some people also take injections that take away sexual feelings.

Other content: The whole tone of this book is eeriness. All, some of the pain medicines, lies, and euthanizing is shocking.
